Growing pains
The 29-year-old actress who first mesmerized viewers as nasty Liza Colby on AMC, and now plays Santa
Barbara's classy heroine Eden Capwell, is cursed up on a plush beige armchair in her sleek dressing room. The bitchy, neurotic Pine Valley high school student is gone, replaced by the mature, good-natured young woman Marcy Walker really is.

The other side of Eden
 I've got one short scene to do," Marcy Walker says breathlessly as she strides into the Santa Barbara production offices, "then I'm all yours for as long as you need." Waiting In Walker's dressing room, located in a maze of hallways at NBC's Burbank studios, one notices the usual costumes hanging about and an organized makeup area, but also a stack of fan mall, several books, fresh-cut flowers and various low-cal snacks and juices; used, no doubt, to maintain that sleek figure. |
